To ensure that the enterprises’ export activities and create stable conditions for goods which enjoy preferential treatment under the framework of international cooperation programs, Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade has done well the instructions, issue certificate of origin (C/O) for goods export to China, ASEAN, South Korea, Japan, with total turnover of 90 million USD. Goods imported through the border gates in Quang Ninh province are mainly chemicals, wheat, automobiles, machineries and equipments, animal feed, raw materials for both Garment - Textile and leather shoes industries. 

According to assess of the leaders of Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade , both production and prices of export goods are higher than previous times, contributing for the province’s scale and growth rapidly. 

Though above - said encouraging results have been recorded, import - export activities in Quang Ninh province remain many weaknesses that need to solve, mainly infrastructure serving for import - export activities not match with the potential clearance of goods. The popular of businesses are not yet active in enumerate and pay the parking fees in time. To rectify this situation, Industry and Trade Department has reviewed and proposed Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee to make invested plan and upgrade the infrastructure to increase revenue for the state budget and do not issue licence for businesses who intentionally delays and arrears. 

The investment for warehouses, storage yards for export goods remains fragmented and small status, environment pollution. In addition to good trade promotion work, Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee continues to solve difficulties for businesses in the solution of administrative reform, strengthening information exchange between businesses with state managed agencies, directing the authorities against smuggling, trade fraud, anti-counterfeiting, and anti-tax losses to increase export revenues to the state budget.
