Construction of strategy in small and medium enterprises in Vietnam

Labor productivity of workers in SMEs has also been significantly improved. Over the past eight years, sales by an average of employees in SMEs generate increased 3 fold, from 225 million in 2000, up to 710 million by 2008.
Besides, this is an area to create the largest job. If in 2000, over 31 thousands of private enterprises generated more than 850 thousands of jobs, thus after 9 years of implementing the enterprise law, the end of 2008, the private enterprises has created 4.3 millions of jobs, accounting for more than 54 percent of total employment by enterprises and nearly four time folds of the total number of jobs that Central SOEs created, increase of more than 505 percent.
For SMEs, the developed strategy will not be able to make a formal way as large enterprises. A process of formal strategic planning is too heavy and will not work with small businesses. To be useful strategy for these businesses, need for changes to suit the level and the work habits of SMEs’ leaders.
Also, for strategic planning really stand the effect of these enterprises, should have added some key factors to ensure success, it is good or the commitment board in the long-term thinking and always taking into account the thoughts of each action. This requires leaders to gain a permanent concern for the consideration of decisions every day, in the framework of long-term options of the enterprise need to detail the objectives and means for making strategy, not just the formal statement of strategy or general measures, which need to come up with a series of objectives, decisions and actions according to the schedule set out by them.
