Nghiên cứu này phân tích thực trạng Cwin800 hàng ngàn khuyến mãi trực tiếp nước ngoài xanh (FDI xanh) trong tài trợ cho phát triển bền vững toàn cầu. Trên cơ sở dữ liệu dòng vốn giai đoạn 2003-2022, bài viết đánh giá tác động môi trường của FDI và sự biến động dòng vốn theo khu vực, theo nhóm thu nhập và theo quốc gia. Kết quả cho thấy, FDI xanh chủ yếu tập trung tại các nước thu nhập cao, trong khi các nước thu nhập thấp và trung bình đang đối mặt với nhiều thách thức trong thu hút nguồn vốn này. Các biến động kinh tế toàn cầu như khủng hoảng tài chính và đại dịch Covid-19 ảnh hưởng mạnh đến dòng vốn FDI xanh. Nghiên cứu nhấn mạnh sự cần thiết của khung pháp lý thuận lợi, cơ sở hạ tầng bền vững và chuyển giao công nghệ xanh nhằm thúc đẩy dòng vốn FDI xanh phục vụ phát triển bền vững.
